Ten Days on the Island organised several free events in the Huon Valley on Sunday 31 March, as part of ‘A Weekend in the Valley’ festivities. Andrew Blanch and Ariel Nurhadi have been playing as a guitar duo since 2014. They have been described as “two stunning young guitarists…virtuosic” (Sydney Arts Guide) and have been praised for their “dazzling guitar playing” (ArtsHub).
The Collective operates every Friday, Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 10:00am and 3:00pm. The Collective only uses local suppliers and provides a great range of fresh farm produce.
This concert is now being held at the Huonville Town Hall. Violinist Simone Slattery and cellist Anthony Albrecht subtly combine a range of beautiful classical music.

A new electric vehicle charging bay has been installed at the Palais theatre and is available for use 24 hours per day. This service is currently offered on a no fee basis to users.
