My partner (now husband) and I held our wedding at the Palais Theatre in November 2019. We had intended to have the reception there, but due to wet weather we also had the ceremony there. It was a fantastic venue; the hall is such a great space and was very atmospheric. The timber floor and art deco walls have been really well restored, and already give it colour and personality prior to any additional decorations. We had 114 guests, and the space was really good for that many people, it felt full but not crowded; there was plenty of space for a comfortable couch corner, and for a dance floor later on. We also loved being in Franklin for the weekend, it is a beautiful town with a lot of character!
