Live funk, rock and soul music at the Palais Theatre, Franklin, by Rosie and the Soul Survivors, with Emily Oates as support. A fundraiser for Rural Alive & Well Tasmania (RAW) mental health support services.
Emily Oates is a young aspiring singer/songwriter from the Huon Valley.
Rosie and the Soul Survivors are local, professional musicians, collaborating to bring you a big sound to dance to! A five-piece band playing classic funk, rock and soul hits from the 60’s to the 80’s, taking you back to the iconic sounds of the era, such as Aretha Franklin, Fleetwood Mac, Carly Simon, Dusty Springfield, Gloria Gaynor and more.
Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks will be available for purchase and a raffle drawn on the night.
Rural Alive and Well (RAW) is on a mission to build healthy and resilient rural communities, to reduce the prevalence of suicide in ages 14 years and above. RAW programs operate statewide in rural and remote Tasmanian locations and include support programs for country areas, football clubs, seafood and timber industries.
