Free Beginner Guitar Workshop

Open to complete beginners in learning the guitar
Age group is 8-14 year olds
Limited to a class size of 12
We supply an acoustic guitar for use in this workshop
Registration is essential on or after August 17 at TryBooking to secure your place in this workshop.
If you have registered, but NOT attending, please cancel online so someone else can get that place.
This beginner workshop will focus on:
Learning of 3 basic chords, G, Em, Am
Strumming patterns
Tuning the guitar
Treating guitars with care (a sustainable attitude)
This workshop will be conducted by experienced music teacher Mark Lynch who enjoyed teaching guitar to students when he was at La Grange Remote Community School in WA, in addition to students at Dover District school in 2019.

1.30pm-3.00pm Band
3.30pm-4.30pm Beginner guitar workshop starts (8 -14 year olds)
