I am very excited to have HUI & the MUSE join us at the Folk Club. Hui Tocker and Peter Hicks will leave you feeling joyful, connected and inspired. I loved seeing them perform at the 2019 Cygnet Folk Festival! I am looking forward to seeing all you beautiful Folks to sing in spring together at the Palais

HUI & the MUSE are Peter Hicks and Hui Tocker.

They began performing as ‘Hui & the Muse’, after Hui was invited to perform a song with Peter and his band.

For Hui, performing with a live band, actually, performing full stop, was both terrifying and exhilarating, but it was also the most amazing way to journey onto the stage and into the world of blues and folk.

For Peter, well, he was just having fun doing what he does so well! Since then, they have built on their musicianship and their friendship and have created layers of harmony, soulfulness, longing and laughter and they share this, unwittingly, with their audience. Peter’s mastery of the guitar and Hui’s soaring vocals create alluring performances.
